Alice with her Mom and Dad, Michael LeMahieu and Elizabeth Rivlin
We, Elizabeth Rivlin and Michael LeMahieu, parents of Alice and Theo LeMahieu, enrolled our daughter, Alice, at CCDC when she was about to turn 1. Now she’s 4 ½ and has been in every class at CCDC. Our younger child, Theo, is following in his sister’s footsteps, having graduated from the infant room to the one year old room. Tammi and Grayson Jones

At every stage, we have loved the attentiveness and warmth of the teachers and staff. It is a place where everyone – not just your child’s teacher – will know your child’s name and look out for her or him.
Now that Alice is in the four year old classroom, she is thriving on the combination of structured and unstructured play, enriching skills development and just plain fun. The older kids have gone on field trips this year, and CCDC has lots of special events, from music night to holiday parties. But most of all, it’s the genuine enthusiasm and kindness with which our children are greeted every day that has made CCDC such a special place for our family.

Grayson has now been attending CCDC for 6 months and has enjoyed every minute of it! Ms. Robbie and Ms. Crain have been wonderful and he enjoys all his classmates. I am very happy with his progression of learning and communication is good as to what I need to be carrying over at home to help improve his success. On top of the academic aspect, the extra activities, such as trips to the Brooks Center, have been great and I have enjoyed the fact that the school welcomes and requests parent involvement with these functions.
All in all, I am very happy with the experience we have had a CCDC and am looking forward to Grayson continuing through the 4 yr old program!

Denise was appointed guardian of her nephew, Donquez, in October 2006. The parent of Donquez had been neglecting him and his sibling. By the time Denise got Donquez he was neither speaking nor potty trained at age three. She was able to get him to speak and train him to use the potty. He came out of his shell. Donquez was then able to attend our Center in March 2007. Denise was already familiar with our program. In fact, a few of her other nieces and nephews were students many years ago. April 18th Denise was awarded full custody of Donquez and his older brother. Since his enrollment in our Center, Denise feels Donquez has improved even more. He is now able to say and recognize his name, whereas before he only knew his name when you called it. Donquez is also able to recite a few nursery rhythms. Denise feels that with more development in his motor skills and hands on interaction from the teaching staff and classmates, Donquez is on the road to a great beginning. Donquez has moved up to the 4-K class for the summer!
